Bobby Leggate Memorial Trophy 2024

Entries are now open the Bobby Leggate Memorial Trophy which will be held on Sunday 26th May. This is a fun event event consisting of 4 players per team and the format is Texas Scramble. For those that didn’t know Bobby, he was a well loved member and friend of Torrance House Golf Club for many years. His passing moved a lot of people within the club and why this Texas Scramble event was born. This is now the seventh year we have ran this event in Bobby’s memory and as mark of respect to Bobby, we ask that all participants (where possible) wear a ‘Trilby Hat’ as we would never see Bobby without his.

Held on the May bank holiday weekend we have been lucky with the weather with previous years events been held in glorious sunshine making the course a sea of pale white legs and Trilby hats.

This event was sold out in record time in 2023 so please be quick with entry forms to guarantee a Tee Time. Places will be allocated on a First Come Basis. Entry costs £40.00 per team.

We will have drinks promotions running all day in what is one of the best days in the golfing calendar. Please note this is an Open Competition open to all golfers with a Club Handicap. Forms can be collected at the bar or downloaded below.
