50 Year Memories

We have received an email from Ian Slater who was Torrance House Golf Clubs first Junior Champion, always nice to hear from past members.

I Have just seen an article in the Daily Record about the club’s 50th Anniversary and it has brought back so many memories for me. My Dad and I attended the very first meeting at the Ballerup and I went on to be the very first Junior Champion in I believe 1971 and the last time I was there , many years ago , my name was still on the board. I learned all my golf at Torrance and went onto being a Club Pro at Bonnyton Golf Club and then in 1982 moved to The Royal Hong Kong Golf Club. I am now retired after 45 years in golf and Torrance started it all off for me. I send my best wishes to all current members on this great occassion and wish you many more successful years to come.
